Use It
- Use the Character Name Change Coupon from your inventory while logged into your character.
- Log out (or return) to the character-select screen.
- Click the Rename button on the character you want to rename.
- Type the new name and confirm.
If it succeeds, your new name shows immediately on the character-select screen.
Restrictions
The rename request is checked by the server, so a few things can block it:

| No Character Name Change Coupon used | Rename refused — buy one from Dewata Vending first |
| Name already taken | Refused — pick a different name |
| Character is in a guild | Refused — leave the guild first |
| Character is in a party | Refused — leave the party first |
| Name has invalid characters | Refused — use letters/numbers only |
Once your rename goes through, the name change is permanent until you buy and use another Character Name Change Coupon.
