Selling on the Market

Selling happens in game — that's where your bag lives, and listing an item takes it out of your bag and holds it safely in escrow. The web page is for tracking your sales, not creating them.

Why in game only? Listing pulls a real item out of your inventory. Only the game server can do that safely; letting a web page delete items from your bag directly would risk duplication bugs. Buying can be done offline because it only moves Zeny and already-escrowed items — but the item itself always leaves your bag in game.

List an item

1. Open the Market window (the cart button on your screen edge).
2. Go to the Sell tab.
3. Pick an item from your inventory.
4. Set the amount and the price per unit.
5. Confirm — the item leaves your bag and your listing goes live.

While an item is listed it's held in escrow (it's out of your bag but not lost). Buyers can purchase all of it or just part of a stack.

Big bag? The Sell, My Listing and Transactions tabs each have their own search box. Type an item name or item ID to filter the list. My Listing and Transactions are shown page by page with a total, and the filters search your whole history, not just the newest rows.

Manage your listings

Your listings show up under the My Listing tab (in game) and on the web Sell tab, with their status:

To cancel a listing: in the Market window, go to the My Listing tab and hit Cancel on the listing. The escrowed item comes straight back to your bag.

Getting paid

When your item sells, the Zeny is credited straight to your Market Wallet — automatically, no need to log in to collect it. Sold part of a stack? You're paid for exactly what sold, and the rest stays listed.

To turn wallet Zeny back into character Zeny, open the Transactions tab in game and hit Withdraw.
