Player Market Overview

The Player Market is DewataRO's player-to-player trading hub. List your gear for other players, browse what everyone else is selling, and pay from a wallet that works even when your game is closed. No fees, no cut — the full price goes to the seller.

You can reach the market two ways, and they share the same live data:

Where How to open
Web Go to dewataro.com/market (also linked from the homepage)
In game Click the floating cart button on the edge of your screen — it opens the Market window

One rule to remember

All prices are in Zeny. That's the only currency the market uses right now. Dewata Coin and Activity Coin stay as farming currencies — they can't be listed as merchandise or used to pay.

The Market Wallet

The wallet is the piece that makes everything else convenient, so it's worth understanding first.

The Market Wallet is a Zeny balance that lives inside the market — separate from the Zeny on your character. The game never touches it, which is exactly why it can work while you're offline:

  • You buy from your wallet. Web checkout spends wallet Zeny, so you can shop and pay any time — even with the game completely closed.
  • Your sales land in your wallet. When something you listed sells, the Zeny is credited straight to your wallet — no need to log in to "collect" it.
  • Buy requests reserve from your wallet. Posting a buy request holds the Zeny in the wallet until a seller fills it.

You move Zeny in and out of the wallet in game, from the Market window's Transactions tab:

Action What it does
Deposit Moves Zeny from your character into your Market Wallet
Withdraw Moves Zeny from your Market Wallet back onto your character

Think of it like a marketplace balance: top it up once, then buy freely from the web without hopping back into the game each time.

Quick "how do I…"

I want to… Go here
Buy something Buying on the Market
Sell my gear Selling on the Market
Ask players to sell me an item Buy Requests (WTB)
Add/remove wallet Zeny In game → Market window → Transactions tab → Deposit / Withdraw

Why some things happen in game and others on the web

Short version: anything that moves a real item touches your character's bag, and only the game can do that safely.

  • Buying and paying move Zeny and already-escrowed items around inside the market's own records, so the web can do them any time — offline included.
  • Selling (putting an item up) and filling a buy request take an item out of your bag, so they happen in game, where your inventory lives. See Selling on the Market for the details.

This split is what keeps trades safe and dupe-proof — nothing is ever pulled from your bag except by the game itself.

Looking for the kRO Universal Catalog? It does not work on the browser client, so it is not sold on dewataRO (a leftover one just shows a reminder when used and is not consumed). The Browse and Request tabs (or the website) search every listing on every map.
