Tomb of Remorse (Lv 220+)
The sequel to Ghost Palace. Princess Tiara never found rest, and the tomb she once ruled is still full of people who cannot sleep. Four floors, two bosses, and the only source of Mineas — the currency that buys the Poenitentia weapon line.
| Level | 220+ |
| Party | 1 or more (you still need a party to create it) |
| Cooldown | Once per day, resets at midnight WIB |
| Time limit | 1 hour per run |
| Entrance | dali02 78,116 |
| Prerequisite | Talk to the Princess of Remorse at dali 124,88 |
Getting in the first time
The entrance will not appear until the princess has told you her story. It is a short chain, all in Dali:
- Princess of Remorse —
dali124,88. She asks for help. Agree, and she tells you what happened to the old kingdom. - Princess of Remorse —
dali79,112. She explains why the dead there cannot rest, then leads you on. - Princess of Remorse —
dali0278,116. This is the door. From here your party leader creates the instance and everyone enters.
After the first time you can go straight to step 3.
The Warper takes you straight there: Instances → Tomb of Remorse drops you at dali02 78,114, right between the princess and the Marquis.
The four floors
Floor 1 — Clear every monster to open the portal. Pick up the Memories and Fragments of the Past scattered around while you do; they are what the daily quests ask for.
Floor 2 — Clear the floor and Princess Tiara appears in the centre. She has 1.28 billion HP and heavy RES/MRES. Collect the memories and fragments after she falls.
Floor 3 — Same as Floor 1: clear it, collect, move up.
Floor 4 — Sakray waits in the middle with 1.84 billion HP. He raises three Pillars of Regret that make him untouchable; deactivate all three and he becomes vulnerable again. Expect this to repeat.
Monsters throughout: Undead Knight, Soldier, Archer, Wizard, Magician, Servant and Noble.
Before you go
Four things that decide whether the run goes smoothly:
- Bring Full Chemical Protection. The monsters cast
NPC_RANDOMBREAKand will break your gear otherwise. - Bring a Scholar for Land Protector. Sakray's Earth Strain is the main reason parties wipe here.
- Keep an eye on your shadow gear.
NPC_STRIP_SHADOWgets used often enough to matter. - Leave the Golden Thief Bug Card at home. Both bosses cast
NPC_DEADLYCURSE2, which disables GTB-style effects entirely.
Daily quests — where the Mineas actually comes from
The Marquis of Remorse (dali02 78,112) hands out four dailies. Take them before you enter, because most of the reward comes from these rather than from drops:
| Quest | What it asks |
|---|---|
| Broken Threads of Fate | Kill Sakray |
| Shedding in Tears | Kill Tiara |
| Memory Fragments | Collect the Memories on the floors |
| Fragment of the Past | Collect the Fragments of the Past |
Each has its own one-day cooldown, all resetting at midnight WIB together with the instance itself.
Where the Memories and Fragments actually are
Both collectibles are invisible. There is no sprite, no sparkle and no marker on the minimap: you walk to the spot and click the bare ground. Nobody finds all thirteen by chance, so the coordinates are below. Turn both quests in at the Marquis inside the instance (1@spa2 214,64), not the one in Dali.
Memories — 3 pieces. Each plays a short scene the first time.
| Floor | Coordinates |
|---|---|
| 1 | 28, 226 |
| 2 | 224, 245 |
| 3 | 84, 52 |
Fragments of the Past — 10 pieces. The number in brackets is the order the story is told in, not the order you find them.
| Floor | Coordinates |
|---|---|
| 1 | 25, 207 (1st) · 75, 211 (3rd) · 82, 256 (6th) |
| 2 | 201, 254 (5th) · 215, 245 (4th) · 230, 252 (8th) |
| 3 | 26, 63 (7th) · 64, 61 (9th) · 82, 29 (2nd) |
| 4 | 203, 77 (10th) |
The last fragment sits on floor 4, in the room where Sakray waits. It is the one people miss, because by then the fight has your attention. Grab it before you pull him.
Two rules that differ between the pair, and they matter in a party:
- Memories can only be picked up by the party leader. Anyone else clicking the spot gets a line of scenery text and nothing else. That is fine, because the count is stored on the instance: once the leader has all three, every member can turn the quest in.
- Fragments of the Past are tracked per character. Everyone who wants the reward has to click all ten themselves. The leader doing it does nothing for you.
They also remember your progress differently. Memories reset with the instance — leave, come back to a fresh one, and all three are waiting again, so sweep them in a single run. Fragments already clicked stay clicked, right through leaving and re-entering, until you hand the quest in. Miss two, and next run you only need those two.
Drops
Regular monsters can drop Sakray's Wrath, Sakray's Regret and Mineas. The two bosses drop the Condensed versions of the first two, plus Mineas.
Both bosses also have a chance at their own card, and the pair is worth chasing together:
| Card | Slot | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Sakray Card | Headgear | P.ATK +1, S.MATK +1, After Cast Delay −5% |
| Tiara Card | Headgear | P.ATK +1, S.MATK +1, After Cast Delay −5% |
Wear both and you get an extra P.ATK +3, S.MATK +3 and After Cast Delay −10% on top.
Spending Mineas
Back at the Marquis of Remorse, the fifth option opens his exchange:
| Item | Cost |
|---|---|
| Sakray's Wrath / Sakray's Regret | 50 Mineas + 100,000z |
| Condensed Sakray's Wrath / Regret | 250 Mineas + 150,000z |
| Any Poenitentia weapon | 700 Mineas |
The Poenitentia line covers every job, so 700 Mineas is the real target for most people. The Imperial Guard pieces come as a set box that contains both the weapon and the shield.
Enchanting
The Wrath and Regret items are not just materials — they are the enchant stones for Poenitentia gear, and enchanting here is a Laphine upgrade, which means it cannot fail and you can redo it as often as you like.
| Stone | Lines granted |
|---|---|
| Sakray's Wrath / Sakray's Regret | 2 |
| Condensed Sakray's Wrath / Regret | 3 |
Wrath rolls physical options, Regret rolls magical ones. Broadly:
- Line 1 — flat stats: MHP, MSP, CRIT, FLEE, HIT, ASPD, and ATK (Wrath) or MATK (Regret)
- Line 2 — offence: attack speed %, ATK/MATK %, ranged or melee damage, damage to each element, and for Regret also cast time and SP cost reduction
- Line 3 (Condensed only) — DEF, MDEF, MHP/MSP %, and damage against each size and against normal/boss monsters
Poenitentia Aegis cannot be enchanted. The shield is the one piece the stones will not accept.
