Autotrade & Vending Rules

@autotrade lets you close the tab with your shop still open. On DewataRO it works in two towns, and each one has a different job.

The Two Vending Towns

Town What belongs there Pays you
Morocc Real, useful items — gear, cards, refine materials, consumables people actually want 2 Activity Coin / hour
Dewata Anything else — junk, loot dumps, low-value stacks, whatever you want to clear out 1 Activity Coin / hour

Everywhere else (Prontera, fields, dungeons…) @autotrade is rejected with "Autotrade is not allowed on this map."

⚠️ Morocc is patrolled. Filling Morocc with junk or trash can get you banned from autotrade. The first time you run @autotrade there each session, a dialog spells this out and asks you to confirm. If what you're selling is random or low-value, open the shop in Dewata instead — nothing is off-limits there.

Both towns are one warp away: the Warper at prontera 159,192 (Towns menu), or @go 1 for Morocc. See Healer, Warper & Kafra.

Who Can Autotrade

Offline vending is for advanced vendors. Your character must be a Merchant-line job that has rebirthed or advanced, or a Super Novice that has reached job 3:

Can autotrade Cannot autotrade
Whitesmith · Creator (and their Baby forms) Novice, Merchant, Blacksmith, Alchemist
Mechanic · Genetic (incl. mounted) Super Novice below job 3
Meister · Biolo Every other class
Super Novice (job 3) · Hyper Novice · Super Baby (job 3)

Super Novices qualify because they genuinely learn Vending through the Novice skill tree, so an advanced one is a real merchant, not a workaround.

Anyone can still open a live shop and stand there with it — the restriction is only on leaving it running while you're logged out. This is what keeps the coin payout tied to real merchants instead of an army of parked mules.

Running a Shop Offline

  1. Open your Vending or Buying Store as usual.
  2. Stand in Morocc (real goods) or Dewata (everything else).
  3. Type @autotrade. In Morocc, confirm the rules dialog.

Your character logs out but stays on the map as a shop. There's no expiry timer — it runs until you log back in and close it, or staff clear it.

Conditions: you need an open shop first, you can't autotrade while dead, and your shop sells from your cart.

Getting Paid

Every hour on the clock, each parked shop earns its town's Activity Coin — 2/hour in Morocc, 1/hour in Dewata.

  • It's a snapshot, not accrual: a shop opened at :06 collects its first payout at :05 the next hour.
  • Coins are delivered straight to the character. If the inventory is somehow full, they arrive by RODEX mail instead — never dropped on the floor.
  • See Activity Coin — Earn & Spend for what to do with them.

Staff Enforcement

  • Shops that break the Morocc rule can have their autotrade privilege banned by staff. The ban is on the account and is timed — it expires on its own. While it lasts, any parked shop the account opens is torn down within a minute, every time; live vending (standing at your own shop) still works.
  • Staff can also sweep parked shops — for example to clear "zombie" shops nobody has touched in a long time. If your shop disappears after a sweep, nothing was lost: your cart is untouched — just log in and reopen it.
