Serangan Rangda (Invasion)

Every hour the demon queen Rangda invades the Poring Village — fight through her horde, rescue the Captive Poring, and walk away with Dewata Coin.

How to Join

Rangda has an NPC in Prontera. While the invasion is inactive she stands idle; when it starts, her sprite changes and talking to her teleports you straight to the battle.

Schedule

The invasion runs automatically every hour at :30. When it triggers, a server-wide announcement tells you where to go.

The Fight

You're warped to the Poring Village, Rangda's private battleground, where her horde has already spawned:

Wave Count HP Notes
Minions 20 1 one hit each, aggressive, hit you for 1
Boss (Rangda) 1 30 per defender aggressive, no skills, no summons, hits you for 1

Fair fight rules. The battleground is a level playing field, on purpose:

  • Every hit does exactly 1 damage, from anyone: a level 5 Novice and a level 275 Dragon Knight hurt Rangda the same. A minion is one hit. Rangda has 30 HP per defender: every time someone new teleports in she gains 30 more, so the job is always about 30 hits per person, whether 3 or 30 people show up.
  • Everyone attacks at the same speed (ASPD 150, two swings a second) while on the battle map, whatever your gear or buffs. Your normal ASPD comes back the moment you leave.
  • No skills. Potions and other items still work.
  • Every hit you take is 1 damage too, from Rangda or a minion, whatever your level or gear. The horde is loud, not deadly.

At two hits a second that is about fifteen seconds of hitting, so it is a race of persistence and luck, not gear. The invasion ends as soon as the boss is defeated, or after 5 minutes, whichever comes first. When it ends, everyone still on the battlefield is warped back to prontera 156,191.

Rewards

Rewards are sent to your Mailbox when the round ends, so leaving or disconnecting early does not lose them. You must have landed at least one hit on a minion or on Rangda during the round; just teleporting in and standing there pays nothing.

Result Dewata Coin
Landed at least one hit 1
Landed the last hit on Rangda 2

Tips

  • A Captive Poring cowers in the village — kill the boss in time and you save it; let the timer run out and Rangda drags it away until the next invasion.
  • You can only enter while the invasion is running, and stragglers are sent home when it ends — no camping the battleground between rounds.
  • One hit is enough for the base reward, so even a fresh character can earn a coin every hour.
  • The double reward goes to the last hit on Rangda. Since every hit is 1 damage at the same speed, staying on her and clicking through the last seconds is what wins it.
  • See Automated Events Schedule for how Rangda lines up against Barong and other recurring events, and Dewata Coin for what to spend your coins on.
