Client Features & Interface

DewataRO runs fully in your browser through roBrowser, and it ships with a stack of custom windows on top of the classic RO interface — here's what each one does.

The floating buttons

A row of buttons lives on the top edge of your screen, always available while you play:

Button Opens
🛒 Market Player Market — trade with other players
🏬 Mall Equipment Mall — 400+ item catalog for Zeny
👗 Costume Fitting Room — try costumes on your own character
💰 Cash Shop Cosmetics and convenience items for Cash Points
⚔️ Battle Log Your damage dealt and taken, in its own window. The gear button lets you switch each one on or off, plus party damage and EXP lines
🎯 Training Locker (only inside the Private Training Ground) Silver Donator perk: borrow any obtainable gear with your own refine, cards, enchants and grade to test a build. See Private Training Ground
🧰 Treasure chest (next to the mailbox icon) Tidies the row: one click and Market, Mall, Costume and Battle Log fly into the chest; click again and they fly back to where you left them. The chest stays closed while they are inside and remembers your choice

All of them are draggable: pick one up, drop it anywhere, and it snaps to the nearest screen edge. Your layout is remembered on that browser, so once you arrange them the way you like, they stay put.

Opening the windows

Window How to open it
Skill Tree Alt + S, or the Skill Tree icon on the bottom bar
Bank Ctrl + B, or the Bank icon
Achievements Alt + K, or the Achievement icon
World Map / Navigation Their icons on the bottom bar
Market · Mall · Costume · Cash Shop The floating buttons above
Refine / Enchant / Reform Automatically when you use the matching item, or through the NPC

Player Market

A full trading system that works whether or not the other player is online. The window has seven tabs:

Browse (everyone's listings) · Request (open buy requests) · Sell (list from your bag) · Ask Request (post a buy request) · My Listing · My Request · Transactions (your Market Wallet + buy/sell history). The three personal tabs are paged with a real total, and their filters search everything you ever listed, requested or traded.

Highlights: prices are per unit so buyers can take part of a stack, items sit in escrow while listed, your earnings land in the Market Wallet automatically, and right-clicking a card opens its item description. The same market is on the website — and if you have the game open in another tab, clicking Buy there executes instantly in your game session. Full walkthrough: Player Market.

Universal Catalog (Silver / Gold) does not work here. The browser client has no store-search window, so the scroll only shows a reminder when used (it is not consumed) and the Catalog Magician in the Eden Group HQ no longer sells it. The Market's search covers the same need on every map, and the Eden tutorial skips that lesson.

Equipment Mall

One catalog window replaced the old row of vending machines. Search by name or item ID, filter by category, weapon type or card position, tick MVP only to see just the MVP cards, and sort by name or price. Add things to the cart on the right and check out in one go — with a confirmation prompt before any purchase so a stray click can't spend a million Zeny. Clicking an item's name or icon (or right-clicking the card) opens its normal item description. See Equipment Mall.

Fitting Room

Preview costumes on your own character before you spend anything — pick a piece, see it on your sprite, and only then decide. Reachable from the Costume button or the Fitting Room NPC.

Cash Shop

Spend Cash Points (CP) on cosmetics and convenience items, organized into tabs — Head Gear, Aura, Mini Me, Wings, and Items — with a search bar, a paginated grid, and a cart showing your Free Points and CP balance before you purchase. Cart quantities can be typed directly (up to 1000), so buying a stack of Dewata Coin doesn't mean clicking a hundred times. See Cash Shop Catalog and Donating & Cash Points.

Stat window: WAR / HUNT

Your character keeps two independent stat builds — a Hunting build (including anything you bought from the Stat Trainer) and a fair, level-only War build. The WAR / HUNT buttons at the bottom of the stat window switch between them; the War build is enforced automatically inside WoE castles and the PvP Arena. See War & Hunting Stats.

Bank

Move Zeny between what's In Bank and On Hand. Type an amount or use the quick-add buttons (+100,000 / +1,000,000 / +10,000,000) and the Max button, then Deposit or Withdraw.

Kafra Storage

Donors get a second storage, Premium Storage (600 more slots, 1,200 in total): any Kafra Employee offers it under Use Storage, or type @pstorage. Details in Donating & Cash Points.

Storage is tabbed by category (with its own Costume tab). Next to the tab bar sits a small filter button: click it and a list drops down that narrows the active tab — by equip position on the Armor, Card and Costume tabs (headgear, body, garment, shoes, accessory, shield…), and by weapon type on the Weapon tab (dagger, two-handed sword, bow, katar…). The button turns orange while a filter is active so you can't forget one is on; clicking anywhere else closes the list. The category buttons along the bottom follow whichever tab you're on.

Homunculus AI

Homunculi come with a real brain: AzzyAI is the default, so your homunculus picks and casts its own skills and Eleanor switches stances mid-fight on her own. Type /hoai to switch back to the basic AI (and again to return). See Homunculus AI.

Skill Tree

Tabbed by job tier — 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and an Etc tab for extra/expanded skills — with your available Skill Points shown at the bottom and Apply/Reset buttons. The window is resizable, and a "view skill info" checkbox toggles skill tooltips while you browse. See Class Progression Tree.

World Map & Navigation

The World Map shows a full map picker with a dropdown to jump between maps, a "Show Monsters" toggle to overlay spawn icons, and a hover tooltip with the map's name and ID.

Navigation is a smaller, live tool: search by NPC, monster, or both, toggle a "Services" filter to highlight service NPCs, and read your mouse position and a locked target's coordinates in the footer.

Navigation also routes across maps: type /navi <map> <x> <y> (also accepts x,y or x/y) and the client plans the whole trip — walking, warp portals, the airship, even the Warper NPC count as legs of the route, with ground arrows guiding each step and the route resuming automatically after every map change. Search results cover the official world plus DewataRO's 450+ custom NPCs, in English. Type /navi stop (or off) to cancel.

Refine, Enchant & Reform

Refining pops up a window showing your success chance and Zeny cost up front, highlighting the material/catalyst slots before you confirm — see Refining Guide and Grade Enhancement. The Enchant, Item Reform and Laphine windows drive the Episode 19 / Varmundt upgrade systems; each opens from the item or NPC that uses it.

Quests, Achievements & Reputation

  • Quest window — active quests with their objectives and progress.
  • Achievements — an overall rank badge and point total plus a progress bar per category; filter by Complete/Incomplete and open any entry for its goals and rewards (title, buff, and/or item) with a Claim button.
  • Reputation — faction standing, including the Biosphere groups from Varmundt's Biosphere.
  • Daily Check-in — the login-reward calendar, one cell per date of the running month; see Daily Check-in.

Handy touches

  • Right-click an item anywhere — inventory, shops, Mall cards, even barter materials — to read its description.
  • Mailbox delivery guard: if your inventory is full or overweight when something tries to give you an item (quest reward, box, exchange), it goes to your mailbox instead of being lost — you'll see a red notice on screen.
  • /str 5, /agi 10 spend your stat points without click-spamming the + button (trait stats too: /pow, /sta, /wis, /spl, /con, /crt).
  • Graphics & sound options let you cap FPS and tune detail if you're on a light machine.
  • Instance window: after you finish (or abandon) an instance, hit Destroy on its entry to clear the cooldown row immediately — the window confirms with "Dungeon removed."
