Card Binder (Card Collection)

The Card Binder is a Pokedex for monster cards. Slot a card into the Binder and it fills that monster's place in your collection, unlocks a small comfort bonus, and inches your maps, albums and tiers toward completion. It is built for the joy of collecting, not for power: nothing in it changes how hard you hit or how much damage you take, so it has no effect on PvP or WoE.

Opening it

Open the Binder from the Card Binder button (the album icon) on the floating button hub at the edge of your screen. That is the only way in — there is no NPC to visit and no command to type.

Your Binder is per character: each of your characters keeps its own collection, its own bonuses and its own Titles. A card deposited on one character does not appear on another.

How it works: deposit, not destroy

You deposit a loose card into the Binder. The card leaves your bag and rests in the Binder, where it stays safe. It is not consumed. Whenever you want it back, withdraw it and it returns to your bag.

While a card sits in the Binder it counts toward your collection and its bonus is active. Take it out and that progress is given back too. This is also why nobody can complete the collection with a borrowed card: the card has to actually stay in your Binder for it to count.

  • Cards set into your gear do not count. They are part of the item, not loose cards. Remove the card first if you want to deposit it.
  • One of each card. The Binder holds a single copy of each card; a second identical copy stays in your bag.
  • Withdraw needs bag space. If your bag is too full to take the card back, free some weight first. The card is never lost.

Deposit all (top right of the Binder window) puts every loose collection card in your bag into the Binder in one go. Cards set into gear, cards already in the Binder and cards that are not part of the collection are left alone. You get one line telling you how many went in.

The three stars on every map

Each collection map has up to three stars:

  • ★ Normal — all the ordinary monster cards of that map.
  • ★★ Mini-Boss — the map's mini-boss card(s).
  • ★★★ MVP — the map's MVP card(s). Completing this also unlocks an in-game Title.

Fill every normal card on a map for its first star, and so on. There are 315 maps, grouped into 77 Authentic Albums (by region) and 6 Grand Tiers (by level). A separate Boss Codex tracks all 131 MVP and mini-boss cards and their Titles.

What you earn

Rewards are quality-of-life only, and they stack as you complete more:

Milestone Reward
Map ★ (normal cards) Progress only — the checkmark and album progress, no stat
Map ★★ (mini-boss) +1,000 Max Weight
Map ★★★ (MVP) +2,000 Max Weight, plus a Title
Album complete +4,000 Max Weight, +300% HP and SP recovery rate
Grand Tier mastery +10,000 Max Weight, +1,000% HP and SP recovery rate, plus a mastery Title

All rewards are pure quality-of-life and stack across everything you complete. HP and SP recovery rate speed up your natural resting regeneration only; they do nothing in combat and have zero effect in PvP or WoE. Map ★ (all normal cards) is progress toward albums and tiers, with no stat bonus of its own. The bonus follows what is in your Binder right now: withdraw a card and any bonus that depended on it is removed immediately, no relog needed.

The real prize is the collection itself: the completion bars, the golden stars, and the Boss Codex Titles you can wear with @title.

Your bonuses track the Binder in real time. Deposit a card that completes a star (or an album, or a tier) and the bonus applies at once; withdraw it and the bonus is removed just as fast. Because the effect only lasts while the card rests in the Binder, there is never a way to keep a bonus you no longer hold — and never a way to lose the card itself. (A Title you set with @title stays on until you change it.)
